Job Summary (Speech-Language Pathologist Pediatric Outpatient Clinic, Arkansas)
- Location: Clinic on 30-acre property between Ozark and Ouachita National Forests, near Bentonville, AR
- Setting: Outpatient pediatric clinic with a holistic, play-based therapy approach; access to farm, livestock, and outdoor space for therapy
- Population: Pediatric caseload, all ages, with a special focus on children with dyslexia
- Team: Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Responsibilities:
- Provide speech therapy to children in a therapeutic, creative, and play-based environment
- Collaborate and communicate with team members regarding evaluations and treatment plans
- Utilize both traditional and innovative therapy tools, including access to outdoor/farm-based resources
- Complete documentation using EMR or IEP online systems
- Requirements:
- Previous experience or fieldwork in pediatrics or school-based therapy preferred (new graduates welcome)
- Experience working with children with speech therapy needs
- Teamwork and collaboration skills
- Schedule: 40-hour work week, 13-week assignment with option to extend (possibility to complete full CFY here)
- Compensation: $1800 $2000/week (DOE); tax-free per diem stipends available for qualifying candidates
