Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Develop new agricultural chemical business; leverage existing industry relationships; prospect growers, distributors, agricultural retailers, crop advisors
- Account Management: Manage and grow existing customer relationships; identify cross-selling opportunities
- Technical Sales: Recommend chemical and crop nutrition solutions; coordinate product evaluations and field trials
- Territory Management: Manage sales activities across California and Arizona; maintain CRM records; travel regularly throughout territory
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of outside sales experience within agricultural chemicals, crop nutrition, or agricultural distribution
- Must have existing legal authorization to work in the United States
- Established relationships within the California and/or Arizona agricultural market
- Existing relationships with growers, distributors, agricultural retailers, crop advisors, or agricultural decision-makers
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively
Strong Plus / Preferred: Existing customer book within California or Arizona; specialty agricultural chemicals experience; crop nutrition/fertilizer sales experience; Certified Crop Advisor (CCA); agronomy background
Target Product Experience: Micronutrients, Fertilizer commodities, Acetates, Chelates, Water treatment chemicals used in agricultural applications, Crop nutrition products
