MNP seeks to promote from within and offers training and development at all levels of the organization; 75% of all leadership positions are held by employees who were promoted from within.About the role of Packaging/Sorting Operator: Sorters and Pack Line Operators organize, categorize, and separate products in the distribution division. This role is responsible for preparing final goods for shipment. The perfect candidate will have experience working in warehouse operations. Keys to success in this role are experience working with sorting and packaging equipment and systems, excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.Responsibilities of a Packaging/Sorting Operator: Package fasteners in containers, both automated and manually Set up packaging equipmentInput weights and counts, print labelsBasic troubleshooting of packaging equipment Manually sort product Packaging and labeling Quality assurance Lifting up to 50 poundsAdditional skills and/or experience required for success in the role of a Packaging/Sorting Operator:Possess basic computer skills possess basic mathematical skillsAble to commit to perfect attendance during the training scheduleAble to communicate clearly and effectivelyBenefits of a Packaging/Sorting Operator:Along with competitive pay, MNP offers employees BCBS medical, dental and vision insurance, company-paid life insurance, life insurance, flexible spending account, short-term and long-term disability, 401(k) and 401(k) match, discretionary profit-sharing.
