Position OverviewWe are seeking a Clinical Informaticist to serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in clinical data and quality measurement. In this role, you will bridge the gap between clinical and technical domains, supporting data validation, quality measurement programs, and health data interoperability.
Key Skills & Qualifications Primary (Required) SkillsClinical Informatics Expertise: 5+ years of experience with clinical workflows, EHR systems, and clinical documentation.
Healthcare Data Standards: 5+ years of hands-on experience with HL7, FHIR, SNOMED CT, LOINC, ICD, CPT, RxNorm, and data interoperability.
Quality Measurement & Validation: 3+ years of experience working with HEDIS, eCQMs, dQM, NCQA DAV, and Primary Source Validation (PSV).
Data Quality & Analytics: 3+ years analyzing, validating, and optimizing clinical data for accuracy and usability.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: 3+ years bridging clinical needs and technical requirements across multidisciplinary teams.
Familiarity with Health Information Exchange (HIE) platforms.
Knowledge of SAS tools and analytics platforms.
Experience with product testing and technical functional validation.
Clinical degree or active license (e.g., RN, MD, NP, PharmD , or equivalent licensed healthcare professional).
Serve as the clinical SME on data use cases and clinical concepts.
Interpret and validate clinical resources for data aggregator validation and primary source validation processes.
Support the implementation and operationalization of digital quality measurement (dQM) engines.
Collaborate with technical teams to identify and resolve clinical data quality issues.
Provide clinical perspectives during product development and participate in testing.
